The Lively Fukuoka Hakata Hotel Report

Japan

I would like to introduce “The Lively Fukuoka Hakata”, a hotel we used for a trip for four girls.

It was not just a hotel to sleep in, but a hotel where you could enjoy your stay as part of your trip.
The hotel is very stylish in its spatial presentation and offers a variety of services, and I would recommend it to younger people in terms of age group.

Hotel Information

Hotel name: The Lively Fukuoka Hakata
C/I,C/O: 15:00/11:00
1 minute walk from “Nakasu Kawabata station” on the subway airport line

It is a fashionable hotel in the Tenjin area and was very nice, including the service and atmosphere.

It was a one-minute walk from the Nakasu Kawabata Station exit, so we were able to move around without stress even in the rain.
The age group was young, and I got the impression that many foreign tourists were enjoying their time.

Hotel Atmosphere

lobby

When you enter the hotel, the lobby is centered around an open bar counter. The spatial presentation is every bit as stylish…no matter where you take a picture, you can sense the sophisticated atmosphere.

There is a sofa area as one of several waiting areas at the lobby.
I used this waiting area to organize my luggage and take a short break here when I went to pick up my checked suitcase on the last day.

The space was spacious and relaxing.
There is also a sofa area outside the hotel, which looks nice to refresh in the space released outside the hotel.

Inside the room

We booked a deluxe loft for this trip.
The bunk beds are 220cm in size and spacious enough for four people.

There is a sofa table in the center of the room and four chairs for four people.

We had originally booked the room for 3 people, but we were able to accommodate 4 people for the same price, so it was very cozy!
This room can accommodate up to 5 people, but there were also 4 chairs (study desk chairs are available and can be substituted if you bring your own) and 4-bed mattresses.
So, it is fine with family, but with friends, you need to have a rock-paper-scissors-scissors tournament.

There was a study area so you could work on your computer.

When I prepared for the next day (makeup) in this space, the mirror was at a low position, so standing on my knees rather than sitting on a chair was the perfect height.

There are two things I found a little difficult to spend time in.

  1. Sofa table is too small
I was playing UNO or something but the space was too small, so I used a study desk chair as a desk.
  2. Room is dark
    Indirect lighting throughout.
I didn’t think I would have any trouble, but when I put on my makeup in the morning, I couldn’t tell if my eyebrows were covered, so I opened the window blinds and relied on sunlight.

It was an unintended consequence of being fashionable.

equipment

Room facilities are as shown here.

Room Facilities65″ TV, mini fridge, safety box, mini table, sofa, desk, chair,full-length mirror, clock, electric kettle electric kettle, mugs
bathroomShower room, toilet, independent washbasin
Room AmenitiesNightwear, slippers
Washroom AmenitiesHair dryer, toothbrush, cotton, cotton swabs, hand soap, tissue paper
Bath AmenitiesShampoo, conditioner, body soap
*Brand: Nature Touch
linenBath towels, face towels, bath mats
Free MibberMineral water (bottled), drip coffee, tea bags (green tea)

The bathroom is large, with the toilet on the right and the bath on the left.

When four people are in one room, the way they spend their time around the water is a concern.
The washroom, toilet, and bath are all separated by sliding doors, so there was no time loss of not being able to go to the bathroom while in the bath…or dry your hair…etc.
I was able to spend my time without time loss.

I think it is a very nice point from a group traveler that the place where you take off your clothes = not the washroom.

Unfortunately, there was no bathtub, only a shower.
The water pressure in the shower was fine and vigorous.

The amenities provided were a nice smelling brand of botanicals.
The lather was good, and although I had brought my own, I was highly satisfied with the amenities provided.

There were toiletries for 5 people in the bathroom.
One disappointment was that the hand soap was so vigorous that it splashed around and got on my clothes.

I told them to be careful – and passed the order to the next person, but they all failed and screamed.

What is a vigorous hand soap even if you are careful…?

The mini-bar area had mineral water, kettle, and coffee set for five people.

Also, a small type of refrigerator is available. Please note that there is no freezer.

variety of services

The hotel offers a variety of services, some of which we thought were the best! We would like to introduce some of the services that we have found to be the best!

17:30 – Free beer

There was a free happy hour for guests only from 5:30 p.m. for one hour.

On the official website, it was listed as beer, but there were also lemon sour, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and a choice of soft drinks.

You can enjoy it at the bar counter in the lobby or at the lounge on the second floor, which is also for guests only.

We were told that we could take it back to our room to enjoy, but since the glasses are small, we would have to go back and forth a number of times, so I think it would be better to enjoy it there.

The lounge on the second floor has a free billiards table, so it will be fun to play here while drinking!

We had a drink here as the first-party and then headed out to Tenjin.

The first party was a quick one-hour at the hotel!

photo booth that prints out cards

There was a photo-machine in the lobby.
It was not a sticker type, but a type that prints out photos (2 photos).
The photos are taken by operating the machine on the left and come out of the printer on the right.

There was a memory notebook and we were told to post the photos we took here and comment on them.

To divide the photos among the four of us, we had them taken four times: at check-in, during the free drinks, when we came back from drinking in Tenjin, and at check-out as a souvenir photo. In order to split the photos between the four of us, we had them taken four times: at check-in, during the free drinks, when we came back from drinking in Tenjin, and at check-out as a souvenir photo. To be able to share the photos among the four of us, we had them taken four times: at check-in, during free drinks, when we came back from drinking in Tenjin, and when we checked out, as a memorable photo.

It is good to have this kind of service. It was a good opportunity for members who are not in the habit of taking pictures to get a chance to take a joint picture!

Large selection of rental items

This one was thankful…to see the information posted on the site prior to our stay.
I was impressed with the hair iron and stretch poles.

Body and hair care
Hair iron straight, Vidal Sassoon curling iron 32mm, stretch pole

Gadgets
Mobile charging cable, extension cord, mobile charging cable (iPhone), mobile charging cable (Android)
Steam iron, cold/warm blower, circulator (small), desk light, humidifier

Cutlery
Wine opener (bottle opener), set of chopsticks and spoons

Other
Pajamas, board games

Renters can make a reservation from their smartphone by scanning the QR code from their own smartphone and entering their guest information.

The ones listed here were the ones on the official website.
Some of the items were already on loan, but if you went to the reception, they were returned and could be borrowed, so the return status did not seem timely.
If you want to borrow something, we recommend that you go directly to the reception desk.

In fact, you can rent items in addition to those listed on the website, including yoga mats.
If there is an item that is not on your phone’s reservation list, you can rent it directly from the receptionist by telling them you want to borrow it.

Here’s what we actually borrowed.
We borrowed a humidifier, a rock ice container and glasses, a yoga mat, and various board games (UNO/Word Wolf/Ha ha!).

When we rented the rock ice containers, the receptionist filled them with ice and informed us that if we wanted refills, we should take them from the two guest-only lounges.

We were so excited to play board games at night that I decided to rent Jenga!
But when we tried to make a reservation after 11:00 p.m., we were told that reservations are not available after 11:00 p.m.,
so we recommend that everyone get what they want to borrow as soon as possible.

The most exciting part was UNO.

rent-a-cycle

Although I did not rent a bicycle this time, there were stylish bicycles available for rent.

You can walk to the Tenjin area, but there are stylish cafes a little further away.
you could not make the decision to go further, but with a bicycle, I think it would be very convenient to have a wider range of activities.

summary

How was it?

It was not just a place to sleep, but also a hotel in itself, where one could enjoy the trip.

I was a little disappointed because of the stylishness of the hotel, but it is still conveniently accessible, stylish, and enjoyable, so I would recommend this hotel, especially for group travelers.

I would be happy to help you in your travels!
